Health and wellbeing coaches are non-clinical, personalised care roles. They work with people with physical and/or mental health conditions, people with long-term conditions and those at risk of developing them.
Please note, it clearly notes that these roles "are non-medical" , and this small note will be of importance later on to do with access to medical records and data protection.
The NHS say's in it's evidence appendix for this, is that there's very little evidence here in the UK and around the world. It pulls upon small scale research which didn't consider whole population or people with long term disabilities, see this
